Unboxing the Hooks from Hobby Lobby

Hello and welcome to Pamela's Adore and Crochet! In today's video, I will be unboxing a set of crochet hooks that I recently purchased from Hobby Lobby. These hooks were on sale for half price, and I couldn't resist adding them to my collection. Let's dive in and see what I got!

I must admit, one of the reasons I was drawn to these hooks is the way they are labeled with the size on the shaft. This makes it so much easier to quickly identify the hook I need while in the middle of a project. As my sister Tanya pointed out, you can simply look down at your hand while crocheting to see which hook you're using. It's a small but thoughtful feature that I appreciate.

When it comes to crocheting, we all have our own unique style. Some people hold their hooks closer to their hand, while others, like me, crochet with the hook sticking out. I find this more comfortable for my small hand. However, it's interesting to hear how different crocheters have their own techniques and preferences.

The hooks I bought range from size 5 up to size 12. Hobby Lobby did have a size 15 hook available, but I decided to leave it behind since I'm not sure if I would ever use such a large hook. Perhaps I should have bought it just in case, but for now, I'm content with the sizes I have.
