Introduction

Welcome back, everyone! In this video, I am going to share with you what I have accomplished in a week. From empty baskets to new creations, let's dive right in and see what I've been up to!

Sunday: Empty Basket

On Sunday, my basket was empty. After having an event on Saturday, it always takes me the entire day to recuperate. So, Sunday was a much-needed break for me.

Monday: Chicken Nuggets and Thumbs Up

Monday was a productive day for me. I made four adorable chicken nuggets. I love how they fit perfectly in their little baskets. It's always a crowd favorite. Moreover, I also managed to accomplish two thumbs up. It was a satisfying day of progress.

Tuesday: Purple Turtle and New Yarn

Tuesday was all about turtles. I made two turtles, and it seems like after every event, I have to make another purple turtle. It's incredibly popular among customers. Besides the purple turtle, I also decided to explore some new yarn options. I chose a soft pink yarn called "Sweet Snuggles Light." It was my first time using it, and I was pleasantly surprised by its quick workability. However, it gave the final stitches a slightly different look. But overall, I enjoyed its faster progress due to minimal resistance.

Wednesday: Dark-colored Turtle and Possum Restock

On Wednesday, I found a gorgeous dark-colored yarn at Walmart. It was an unexpected find, but I couldn't resist using it. I made another stunning turtle with this new yarn. Additionally, I managed to restock the possums that were popular among customers. My aim was to up the ante and have six items per design. This increase in stock was crucial because there was a two-day event approaching in two weeks. I wanted to ensure I had plenty of stock to meet the expected high demand.

Thursday: More Chickens and a New Free Pattern

Thursday brought more chickens into the mix. I made two additional chickens to further increase my stock. However, I decided that six chickens would be my limit for now. Additionally, I introduced a brand new free pattern on my website. It all started with a cute creation that could be a mouse or a cat. I chose cat as the primary theme. During the process, I made some modifications to perfect the pattern. After testing it thoroughly, I was satisfied with the final outcome. This new pattern was now available for everyone to enjoy.

Friday: Quick Velvet Production and a Crocheted Star

Friday was a day of major quick velvet (QV) production for me. Considering my other commitments, I still managed to make significant progress. I created multiple items using hot pink, blue, lavender, and peach colors. The QV pattern was solid, and I made six items without any issues. I even made a star upon my sister's request. Although I had never made a star before, I found a tutorial online and modified it slightly to suit my needs. In the end, I successfully crocheted a star as a gift for my great niece, who is due in January.

Saturday: Beef Beads and Unfinished Projects

On Saturday, I decided to try something new by crocheting beads. Although I'm not a big fan of the look, I challenged myself and incorporated them into my creations. I made a beef design using only two bands. While it wasn't my personal favorite, I know many people love this type of creation. Making these beads was relatively quick, with each one taking under an hour to complete. I made a total of six beads, which turned out to be quite successful.

Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to finish up some of my unfinished projects. I had a dinosaur, a kitty cat, a polar bear, and a frog waiting to be completed. Additionally, there was a baby blanket that needed to be finished. However, due to running out of yarn and some unexpected setbacks, I couldn't accomplish these tasks. But I plan to tackle them in the coming days and hope for a more productive week ahead.

Conclusion

That wraps up my week filled with crocheting adventures. Despite a few challenges and unfinished projects, I am pleased with the progress I made. Next week, I will continue working on my projects and may even share a video about an old Halloween pattern I found. Thank you for joining me on this crochet journey, and remember, happy crocheting! Farewell for now!
