Introduction

Welcome to this doll-making tutorial! In this video, we will continue with the pattern and focus on creating the arms and the head of the doll. If you're interested in this project, don't forget to subscribe to my channel, share, and like this video!

Making the Head

To start making the head, we will use a specific color and begin with a magic ring. Inside the magic ring, we will create six single crochet stitches. Once we close the magic ring, we will move on to round two, where we will make one increase in each stitch.

Round 2

In round two, insert your crochet hook into the first stitch and make one increase, which means two single crochet stitches in the same stitch. Continue this pattern of one increase in each stitch until the end of the round, resulting in a total of 12 stitches.

Round 3

In round three, we will alternate between one single crochet and one increase. Keep following this pattern until the end of the round, resulting in a total of 18 stitches.

Round 4

In round four, create two single crochet stitches followed by one increase. Repeat this pattern until the end of the round, resulting in a total of 24 stitches.

Round 5

Round five consists of making three single crochet stitches followed by one increase. Keep repeating this pattern until the end of the round, resulting in a total of 30 stitches.

Rounds 6-13

For the next seven rounds (rounds six to 13), make one single crochet in each stitch. Every round will maintain a total of 30 stitches.

Attaching the Head to the Body

Before moving on to the rounds of decreases, let's add the eyes to the doll's head. Use 8mm plastic safety eyes and position them between round 10 and round 11. Once the eyes are secured, we can continue with creating the rounds of decreases.

Round 14

In round 14, make four single crochet stitches followed by one decrease. Repeat this pattern until the end of the round, resulting in a total of 30 stitches.

Round 15

In round 15, create three single crochet stitches followed by one decrease. Repeat this pattern until the end of the round, resulting in a total of 24 stitches.

Round 16

In round 16, make two single crochet stitches followed by one decrease. Repeat this pattern until the end of the round, resulting in a total of 18 stitches.

Making the Arms

To make the arms, we will use a different color for the first three rounds. Create a magic ring and make five single crochet stitches inside it. In the second round, make one increase in each stitch, resulting in a total of ten stitches. For rounds four to fifteen, continue making one single crochet in each stitch, maintaining a total of ten stitches in each round.

Attaching the Arms to the Body

After completing the arms, it's time to attach them to the doll's body. Insert the crochet hook in the appropriate stitch, take one stitch from the body, and then one stitch from the arm. Repeat this process until the head and arms are securely attached.
