Giveaway Details

To enter my giveaway, you have a chance to win a $15 Amazon gift card and choose one of the ornaments I created. All the giveaway rules can be found in the description section of this video. Don't miss the opportunity to win this fantastic prize!

Materials Used

For my ornaments, I utilized various materials to bring out the Christmas spirit. I had some paper mache tag ornaments that I've had in my stash for years. These tag ornaments, which are no longer packaging at Hobby Lobby, served as the base for my creations. Additionally, I found cute little ornaments at Walmart, which I enhanced with additional elements. The Christmas Sparkle collection by Prima was my go-to for the main decoration. I also incorporated dies, such as poinsettia and Christmas words, to add dimension and festive vibes to my ornaments. Additionally, I used Aliens Tacky Glue as a substitute for Mod Podge, and Aleene's Glitter Snow from Amazon was perfect for highlighting my poinsettias.

Ornament 1: Rectangle Ornament

I started with a rectangle ornament and transformed it into a beautiful piece of art. First, I painted the ornament with gesso to create a smooth surface. Then, I applied mod podge and adhered some patterned paper to the ornament. To add a touch of elegance, I attached pom-pom trim around the edges. Next, I added a feather boa piece as a lovely background element. Layering snowflakes on top of each other gave the ornament a three-dimensional look. The real showstopper was the poinsettias, ephemera, and chipboard pieces that I placed strategically. To enhance the overall look, I replaced the original hanger with a ribbon and added a banner using a die by Elizabeth Craft. This rectangle ornament turned out incredibly cute!

Ornament 2: Round Ornament

The second ornament I created was a round one. I followed a similar process as the rectangle ornament but made some variations to achieve a unique look. After painting the ornament with gesso, I applied mod podge and adorned it with patterned paper. To introduce some texture, I used a Walmart ribbon and layered it beautifully. A small bow and trim perfectly complemented the design. The final touch was a delicate eyelash trim and tulle that added a touch of elegance. This round ornament looked absolutely adorable!

Ornament 3: Blue Ornament

For the blue ornament, I used the stunning pink and blue-themed Christmas Sparkle collection. Following the same process as before, I painted the ornament with gesso and applied mod podge and patterned paper. I then proceeded to layer various embellishments, including a pipe cleaner, eyelash trim, a candy cane die, and a bow from Allie. I also incorporated a rosette from Nurse Tara, whose talent in creating stunning rosettes is extraordinary. This blue ornament added a charming touch to my collection!

Ornament 4: Doodlebug Ornament

To create a whimsical touch, I made a Doodlebug ornament. I used a single sheet of adorable Doodlebug paper for this ornament. Applying mod podge, I secured the paper, and then I added a small snowflake and a cute doodle pop embellishment. To make the ornament even more captivating, I incorporated a ribbon from Walmart and attached a pom-pom. This Doodlebug ornament was undeniably charming!
