Hey guys! I'm glad to be back and share my latest crochet creations with you. Life has been quite challenging lately, both emotionally and physically, but I'm excited to show you what I've been working on.

Challenges in Life

Sometimes, life throws us curveballs that make it difficult to function in public. I've been dealing with my fair share of ups and downs recently, which has taken a toll on me. However, I'm grateful for the support from my loved ones and the crafty outlet that helps me through tough times.

Completion of Andy's Squid

Finally, after much perseverance, I have finished creating Andy's squid. This project was a bit of a challenge, especially considering the size of the finished piece. I used Bernat blanket yarn instead of regular yarn to make it larger, as I had done with my previous octopuses.

Miranda's Sloth

Miranda, the talented creator behind her own YouTube channel and frequent auction host, requested a sloth. She specifically wanted a smaller version, approximately the size of her hand. I used regular yarn for this project and was surprised to find that a small ball of yarn was enough to complete the entire body with some left over.

Crochet Patterns Used

For Andy's squid, I followed the pattern provided by a designer whose details I will include in the video description. Although the pattern called for regular yarn, I made the deliberate choice to use Bernat blanket yarn for a larger size. The sloth pattern, on the other hand, was created by Ultra Crochet, and with the adjustment of using smaller yarn, it resulted in the desired smaller size.

Updates and Future Plans

I want to apologize for my absence and assure you that I am back with renewed energy and creativity. Recently, I embarked on an hour-long drive to a store that was closing down in Mitchell. The store had a variety of items, and I made sure to take advantage of the opportunity. I purchased over 1200 items, including yarn, household items, and birthday supplies.

Among the items I acquired, there are various items of interest. I obtained window clings for the kids, matches, puzzles, and Halloween and Valentine's Day supplies. These items will serve different purposes, from gifting to possibly selling at a flea market. Moreover, there are boxes available at an excellent price, perfect for Christmas gift packaging.

Personal Reflections

Before concluding, I want to take a moment to reflect on recent personal events. I lost my great aunt, who played a significant role in my upbringing, as well as my great uncle and my aunt, who was my mother's sister. These losses have been emotionally challenging, and I find myself overwhelmed with emotions at times. My mom, aunt, and late grandmother, after whom I named the channel, are the reasons for my crafty nature. Their impact on my life is immeasurable.

Tree House Bird's Nest

Lastly, I want to share a beautiful sight I discovered in our tree house - a bird's nest. The nest is incredibly tiny, yet it already contains hungry baby birds. It amazes me how nature works and brings such wonders to our surroundings.
