Introduction

In today's video, we will be testing the effectiveness of SC Quick Drying Drops in speeding up the drying time of nail polish. We will compare the results of using the drops on one nail and leaving the other nail to dry naturally. By conducting this experiment, we aim to determine whether these quick drying drops actually live up to their claims. So let's dive right in and see if these drops are worth investing in.

Testing the SC Quick Drying Drops

To begin the testing process, we will first apply a base coat to prepare the nails for the polish. The base coat should be applied in thin coats for quicker drying. Once the base coat is applied, we will allow it to dry, which usually happens quite quickly.

Next, we will select a beautiful color called Bikini Sotini for this experiment. This polish has a good formula and doesn't require heavy application. We will apply the first coat of polish thinly and let it dry for a few minutes.

After the first coat has dried, we will proceed to apply a second coat of polish. Since the polish covers well, we won't need to apply a thick layer. The application process will be much smoother due to the new brushes we are using.

Once the nails are fully coated, we will let them dry for a sufficient amount of time. Normally, we would wait about five minutes, but since we are comparing the drying time with the Quick Drying Drops, we will extend the waiting period.

Introducing the Quick Drying Drops

Before we proceed with the test, let's familiarize ourselves with the Quick Drying Drops. These drops contain silicones and oils that aid in drying the nail polish faster. They work by bringing the solvents from the nail polish to the surface, allowing them to evaporate more quickly. This results in the top layer of the nail polish drying faster than the bottom layer.

The drops are usually very light and evaporate rapidly. They are applied to the top layer of the nail polish to speed up the drying process. Now that we know how the drops work, let's proceed with the experiment.

Conducting the Test with the Drops

To conduct the test, we will apply one drop of the Quick Drying Drops on one nail, while the other nail will be left to dry without any additional help. We will give the drops a couple of minutes to spread and dry before assessing the results.

After the appropriate waiting time, we will examine both nails to determine any differences in the drying time. We will also evaluate the greasiness of the drops and perform a scratch test to assess their effectiveness.

Evaluating the Results of the Test

Upon evaluating the results of the test, we found that there was no significant difference in the drying time between the nail with the Quick Drying Drops and the nail without. Both nails took a considerable amount of time to fully dry, indicating that the drops did not live up to their claims of quick drying.

Additionally, we noticed that the drops left a greasy residue on the nail, which may not be ideal for some individuals. Moreover, when performing a scratch test, the nail with the drops appeared to be less resistant and easily scratched compared to the nail without.

Conclusion

In conclusion, our test results demonstrate that the SC Quick Drying Drops did not improve the drying time of the nail polish significantly. Despite their claims and composition, the drops failed to deliver the expected quick drying results. Furthermore, the greasiness and lack of resistance observed during the scratch test raise concerns about the overall performance of the drops. Based on our findings, we do not recommend investing in SC Quick Drying Drops for speeding up the drying time of nail polish.
