Tutorial - Part 2: Sleeve Portion

In this tutorial, we will be focusing on the sleeve portion of the sweater. We have already completed one side of the sleeve with the same body pattern as the previous tutorial. Now, we will be working on making the sleeve for the other side.

To start, we will begin with a double crochet row followed by a single crochet row. Then, we will continue with the pattern and finish with the ribbing row. The design of the sweater is suitable for adults as well, so you can customize it to any size you prefer.

To begin the sleeve, insert the hook and pull the yarn, then chain three. Make a double crochet in each stitch around without any increase or decrease. Continue making double crochet stitches until you reach the end of the round. You should have a total of 26 double crochet stitches. Make a slip stitch in the third chain to finish this round.

Next, chain one and make a single crochet in the same stitch. Make a single crochet in each stitch around. When you reach the increase point, make two single crochets in that stitch. Repeat this increase in the next stitch and make an additional single crochet in the last stitch. By the end of this round, you should have a total of 28 single crochet stitches. Make a slip stitch in the first single crochet to finish this round.

After completing the single and double crochet rows, we will move on to the pattern. Start by making a chain one and a half double crochet in the same space. The pattern requires creating clusters in every two stitches. To do this, insert the hook, pull the yarn, yarn over, pull through the first two loops, yarn over, pull through the next two loops, and chain one. Continue making clusters in the next two stitches and chain one. Repeat this pattern throughout the round until you reach the 15th row.

After completing the pattern row, continue with the ribbing part. Make a slip stitch in the next space, chain one, and make a half double crochet in the same space. Make a half double crochet in each remaining space, including the two extra spaces. By the end of this round, you should have a total of 28 half double crochet stitches.

Continue making front post and back post half double crochet stitches in alternating rounds to create the ribbing effect. Repeat this pattern for three to four rounds, or as desired. Finish the ribbing with a slip stitch in the first front post half double crochet.

Fasten off the yarn by chaining one and cutting it. Congratulations! You have completed the pullover sweater. The measurements of the sweater are [provide measurements]. Feel free to customize the length according to your preference and baby's size.

In conclusion, this tutorial offers an easy and unique pattern for a pullover sweater. The closed stitch design makes it suitable for winter wear. You can also experiment with different colors to personalize the sweater. If you have any doubts or questions, please leave a comment below.
