Hey everyone, it's Claudette from Claudette's Charms here! I wanted to share some exciting updates on the projects I've been working on. I have a few finished objects to show you today, both crochet and knitting projects. So sit back, relax, and let me take you through each one of them.

Crocheted Finished Objects

Millie the Crochet Love Mouse

Let's start with this adorable little crocheted mouse named Millie. She is just too cute to resist! The pattern for Millie is from the Crochet Crowd, and I'll provide the link below so you can try it out for yourself. I used a light gray yarn for her body and added a touch of sparkle to her ears. Though I didn't get around to making the heart, you can certainly add it if you like. Millie turned out absolutely adorable, and I can't help but fall in love with her.

Panda for Danielle

Next up is a stuffed panda that I made for my daughter Danielle. Even though she's all grown up now, she still wanted a cute plushie made by her mom. I found this lovely pattern by Odinka, and I'll link it below for you to check out. I used some scraps of four-weight yarn for this project, and the end result is simply adorable. I'm afraid I can't quite remember what she named the panda, but it's a cherished toy for her.

Doll for Katie

Moving on, this little doll was made for my oldest daughter, Katie. She specifically requested a doll to sit on her bed, so I found the perfect pattern by Amy Saigon. The yarn used for this project is a chunky weight, giving the doll a plushy and huggable texture. The gray and white colors blend beautifully to create a lovely contrast. Katie absolutely adores this doll, and it's become a cherished companion for her.

Knitted Finished Objects

Ballerina Doll

Now let's switch gears and move on to the knitted finished objects. First up is this adorable ballerina doll. The pattern for this doll is by Diana Levine Knits. I must admit, I made her face a little longer than the pattern called for, but I still think she turned out exceptionally cute. She's a floppy doll, perfect for little ones to cuddle with. Comfort Izzy Dolls

Next, I had a blast making these comfort Izzy dolls. These dolls are also knitted and are named after a Canadian soldier who used to distribute similar dolls to kids affected by the war. The pattern for these dolls is by Esther Joy Knits, and she provides a tutorial for everything, including the dresses, lettering, and hair. These dolls come in various designs, and I'll link the tutorial for Lucy's doll below. They may take some time to work up, but the end result is worth it. I'm even considering donating these dolls to the kids in Ukraine, so if you have any suggestions, please let me know in the comments below.

Donating to Ukraine Kids

As mentioned earlier, I'm looking into donating some of my handmade items to the kids in Ukraine. I believe it's important to spread joy and comfort to those who may need it most. I've done some research, but so far, I haven't found any specific organizations that accept donations of handmade items. If you know of any, please reach out to me in the comments section. I would love to contribute by donating blankets, dolls, and other items that can bring a smile to the faces of the children in Ukraine.
